	Serph ➤ bufudine
	Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner
	The leader of the Embryon Tribe, Cielo's comrade and close friend. Serph arrived with Cielo at the same time in Vatheon and they have stuck together as a Tribe should. In the Junkyard, the leader of the Tribe is the most important person and that has carried over here. Before the arrival of Gale, Cielo was the only other member of the Embryon in Vatheon, and such, grew extremely protective of him. Now that Gale is here and Vatheon has proved to be a much safer place than the Junkyard, he's able to relax more and not be so worried about Serph. Should danger seriously arise, however, Cielo has zero qualms whatsoever in sacrificing himself for Serph's sake. Because Vatheon isn't a warzone, he and Serph are able to concentrate less on fighting and security and more on discovering and doing normal things together. Cielo loves sharing the things he finds and learns with Serph. Although he doesn't voice it, Cielo is always eager to please and likes having Serph's approval. When Serph is happy, he's happy and as such, Cielo wants to stay positive for his sake. After all, he owes Serph a lot and even if he didn't, he will still always be there to serve his Tribe and his leader.

	Gale ➤ donotcomprehend

	The strategist of the Embryon is quite different from Cielo, and yet, the two of them get along very well. While Cielo happily calls most men he gets along with his bro, Gale is probably the one he most strongly applies the label of "brother" to. Cielo is especially fond of playing games with Gale, as usually he can goad him into playing along. Here in Vatheon, Cielo really wants Gale to embrace the new world they're in. It's not Nirvana, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't make the most of it. He's constantly trying to get Gale to relax and enjoy himself. Cielo knows it's difficult for Gale to adjust, so he tries to be as accommodating as possible, which includes going along with Gale's need for a more Junkyard-like way of living. It seems to be working, albeit slowly. Still, Cielo is thrilled.

	Sera ➤ techno_shaman
	Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner
	The mysterious girl who isn't quite like the rest of the them, Sera possesses a strange power over Cielo and the rest of his Tribe. She is his creator and she based him off a young man she was friends with. Cielo feels a deep loyalty to Sera and similar to Serph, he feels a strong need to make her happy. His instinct to protect her is exceptionally strong - she isn't a fighter herself and Cielo once failed to keep her safe, the shame and his desire to redeem himself in the Tribe's eyes awakening him to emotions. And marked the birth of his Jamaican accent. Cielo spends a considerable amount of time looking for ways to make Sera happy and is always up for spending time with her.

	Heat ➤ enfire

	The hot headed strong arm of the Embryon, Heat doesn't find Vatheon very appealing or easy to adjust to. For reasons unknown to this day, Cielo has been tasked with the unpleasant task of keeping him in check. Which more or less makes him Heat's baby sitter. Cielo does his best to mediate between Heat and whoever he's having a spat with and it is not an easy job. It's suffering, plain and simple. Cielo puts up with it, because he cares a lot about Heat and always will no matter how difficult the man is. And he knows Heat also cares. Even if Heat is absolute crap at showing it.

	Argilla ➤ teradine
	Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner
	Argilla and Cielo have a most amicable relationship, although she isn't afraid to give him a good blow if he's being particularly stupid or annoying. But Cielo admits that every time she hits him, he deserves it. Otherwise, they're extremely friendly with each other and Cielo sometimes sees Argilla as a motherly figure. As much as he can deem a person motherly, anyway.

	Yukari Takeba ➤ tsundyne
	Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
	One of the first people Cielo met in Vatheon. Yukari was not only extremely kind to him and Serph, but she also showed them a beach. (A place that, until then, may as well have been mythical to them.) She was also one of the first people to see their Atma. Yukari may not realize it, but in such a short time, she's done a lot for the Embryon members. As such, Cielo is pretty quick to offer his help whenever it may seem like she needs it.

	Tiir Rumible ➤ contemptibility
	The Legend of Legendary Heroes
	A fellow cannibal who encountered Cielo and Serph while they were hunting late one night. Tiir was the first person outside the Embryon Tribe to learn that Cielo was a cannibal and for a long time, remained so. Conversations with Tiir often make Cielo reevaluate himself: what is he? Who is he? These are questions that often surface again and again after speaking with Tiir. There are many things that Cielo doesn't understand about Tiir and there are subjects they definitely disagree about, but Cielo still likes him.

	Rinoa Heartilly ➤ sorcery_fledgling
	Final Fantasy VIII
	Squall's friend, and a young girl with powerful magic and beautiful black hair. Rinoa is cheerful and spunky, two qualities that Cielo likes, and she cares very much about him, which he greatly appreciates. She's kind of scary when she's mad though.

	Shing Meteoryte ➤ ouarsomalink
	Tales of Hearts
	Shing and Cielo first met when the latter was starting a garden with Serph. Or, to be more specific, was causing miniature earthquakes in order to loosen the ground enough to plant a garden. Shing helped the two of them plant seeds in Vatheon mugs. While planting, Shing asked what kind of flowers girls would like and Cielo had absolutely no idea. (There are certain kinds girls like better???) Later, however, when Shing was killed and taken to the clinic, Cielo was the one who tended to him and as a get well gift, presented Shing with one of the mugs he had planted. It had since grown and sprouted, becoming a beautiful orange hibiscus.

	Johnny Rayflo ➤ not_heavens_adam
	Vassalord
	More of a friend of Serph's, Cielo has talked to Johnny a few times and mostly finds him pleasant, but a little odd. After the masquerade, it's pretty evident that Cielo shouldn't learn the definition of words from Johnny ever.

	Princess Zelda Hylia ➤ zelda_hylia
	The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
	The very nice, very helpful, and very patient princess that helped Cielo and Serph when they first arrived in Vatheon. Cielo still thinks she looks like a human sized Pixie. Except much, much prettier. Zelda is probably the person Cielo has asked the most questions to, and he admires her in a way not unlike how a child admires his mother.

	Nepeta Leijon ➤ bestestfurrend
	Homestuck
	The first troll Cielo met in person in Vatheon. He happened upon her by chance and she taught him the joys of simple, seemingly pointless things rolling in the grass. He likes Nepeta's cheery attitude and her friendliness. Also because she's a kitty and he likes cats. Cielo and Nepeta share similar views about fighting and killing, especially because they're both hunters.

	Equius Zahhak ➤ stayb100ponyboy
	Homestuck
	A troll that has memories of Cielo, but Cielo himself cannot remember. Equius told Cielo about a previous stay in Vatheon in which the two of them became friends. His sincerity and knowledge about certain facts convinced Cielo that he's not lying. Cielo feels terrible that he can't recall his previous stay. Cielo has since promised Equius help whenever he needs it (the least he could do) and hopes to rebuild that friendship.

	Zelos Wilder ➤ chosen_gigolo
	Tales of Symphonia
	Weird guy. Cielo first talked to Zelos over the network discussing Valentine's Day. Zelos explained romance to Cielo, which he understands, but things like kissing are strange to him. Cielo has a bit of a hard time understanding Zelos: he's never met someone with that kind of personality before. Fast forward a month, and Cielo finds an upset Zelos on the beach and he did his best to cheer him up and ended up racing him around the island. Cielo's proud that he was able to help. But what was up with that thought bubble image of him Zelos had? SO. WEIRD.

	Squall Leonhart ➤ unshelledbullet
	Final Fantasy VIII
	A young mercenary who wears the Embryon color and works with Serph on the Vatheon Defense Force . Cielo and Squall are related by "adoption," which was less formal adoption and more Serph deciding that Squall could be part of the "family." The two first met in the Defense Force and have since started spending some time together. Cielo doesn't mind Squall's quiet grumpiness. It's a part of who he is and he's not that bad once you get to know him. From what Cielo understands, Squall is not good at interacting with others. Which is why Cielo has made it a personal goal to make sure Squall isn't too lonely.

	The German accented man that Cielo first met and assisted during the Fairy Tale curse. Medic was one of the people Cielo worked with in the clinic and the two of them occasionally had accent-filled conversations about war.

	Shizuo Heiwajima ➤ a_violent_end
	Durarara!!
	Shizuo Heiwajima: introducer of food. Well, at least that's how they met. Cielo, as a gigantic peacock, met Shizuo, the failed huntsman, during the fairy tale curse when Shizuo asked him not to eat the roses and instead introduced him to other foods. Cielo thought he was a very nice (and maybe lonely?) person and considered him a good friend. Cielo is disappointed they never got to go out for sushi.
